Red Card Athletics

Red Card Athletics is a payments platform used by sports teams across the United States. Their suite supports the complex, varied operations of feeding athletes—at home, on the road, through delivery, and at training facilities.

Red Card asked us to redesign their iOS/Android Athlete App with a modernized UI, a navigation scheme that embraces their mix of services, and, most importantly, a clarified experience for athletes.

We reimagined the home screen to bring the most immediate actions to the surface, so athletes can quickly place an order for an upcoming meal or check into a team meal. We streamlined key flows across check-in and in-store payment to reduce friction and to make “what’s next” obvious at every step. We added helpful utilities—like an aggregated transaction history and optional bank linking—to give athletes a clearer view of funds and spending. The UI is a highly modular, component-based system that flexes to the different combinations of services each program uses, ensuring consistency without sacrificing configurability.
